The ANU-AAMT National Mathematics Summer School (NMSS) is the oldest and most prestigious program of its type in Australia.
It has been academically sponsored by the Australian National University (ANU) and the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT) since being founded by Professor Larry Blakers AM in 1969.
The NMSS aims to discover and develop the mathematical talent of high-achieving school students from all over the country.
NMSS 2026 is set to take place from 4 to 17 January at the Australian National University in Canberra.
Participation is normally limited to approximately 75 students who have completed their Year 11 studies.

Please note that the application process also requires your teacher to complete a Teacher Nomination Form.
